Ginger-bang Champagne

4 oz Champagne
1 - 2 dashes simple syrup
1/4 oz fresh ginger

Muddle fresh ginger in the bottom of a bar glass. Add chilled champagne and simple syrup, stir gently and immediately strain into champagne flute. Serve.
